LYON3 SHARED VENUES
Discover gigs, venues, festivals, bookers and music opportunities that fit your sound and where you want to play.
Built for independent artists and bands.
01 / THE PROBLEM
Finding the right gigs, venues and music contacts takes time. NextStage brings relevant opportunities together so you can focus on the ones that actually fit your music.
Venue websites, festival pages, social media, event listings and old contact lists each hold part of the answer. For independent bands booking their own shows, that means evenings of tabs and spreadsheets before a single email goes out.
02 / OPPORTUNITIES
Gigs with open slots, music venues that program your genre, festivals with emerging stages, support slots and the bookers behind them. Each opportunity shows where it is, why it fits and whether there is someone to contact.
Explore opportunities03 / BUILT AROUND YOUR MUSIC
NextStage is not a generic directory of every stage in the country. Your genres, your music profiles, the size of your audience and the cities you choose shape what shows up, so independent artists see the gigs, music venues, festivals and booking opportunities that fit where they are now.
Every result comes with the reasons it appeared, so you can decide quickly what deserves an email.

06 / HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1 · YOUR ARTIST

07 / THE STORY
NextStage started from a familiar problem: spending more evenings searching for venues, festivals and contacts than making music or preparing the next show. Every search started from zero, one website and one inbox at a time.
The goal is simple. Make the information and tools independent artists need easier to find, easier to understand and easier to act on, so more of your time goes back into the music.
Write to PierreNextStage is a discovery tool for independent musicians. You add your artist or band, choose the cities you want to play in, and NextStage brings together gigs, music venues, festivals, support slots, bookers and similar artists that are relevant to your music. Instead of searching across dozens of websites and social accounts, you start from one organized list.
NextStage is built for independent artists and bands, especially emerging and semi-professional musicians who organize their own shows. It is also useful for the people around them, such as a bandmate who handles booking or a manager working with a small roster.
Yes. NextStage takes the scale of your project into account, so an emerging band is pointed toward venues, gigs and festival stages that make sense for where it is now, rather than rooms it cannot realistically fill yet. Smaller venues, local gigs and support slots are often the most useful starting points, and they are a big part of what you can discover.
You can discover gigs and booking opportunities, music venues, festivals and their emerging artist programs, support slots alongside touring artists, bookers and other relevant music industry contacts, and similar or local artists in your scene. Labels and other professionals appear where they are relevant, but live opportunities come first.
NextStage looks at what describes your project: your genres, the music profiles you add, the scale of your audience and the cities you choose. It uses that context to surface opportunities and contacts that fit, and shows the reasons each one appeared, such as a similar artist who played the venue or a festival stage that programs your genre.
No. NextStage helps you discover opportunities and the contacts behind them, but it does not book gigs on your behalf. You stay in charge of outreach, applications, negotiation and booking. The goal is to make that work faster and better targeted, not to replace the relationship between you and a venue or booker.
Yes. Finding music venues that fit your sound and audience is one of the core uses of NextStage. For each venue you can see where it is, its approximate capacity when known, the kind of artists it programs and whether a booking contact is available, so you can prioritize the rooms worth contacting.
Yes. NextStage shows artists close to your sound and artists from your local scene. Looking at where they play, who they share bills with and which festivals program them is often one of the best ways to find new venues, support slots and people to contact.
Select Find my opportunities, add your artist or band and the music profiles that describe your project, then choose the cities you want to explore. NextStage then brings relevant gigs, venues, festivals and contacts together for you to review.
